Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language summary of what Listicious collects and why, written to match what the product actually does. It isn't a substitute for professional legal advice, but it's an honest one.
What we collect
If you create an account: your email address and password (used only to sign you in — we never see the password itself, it's handled by our authentication provider), and an optional display name.
If you build a wishlist: whatever you add to it — titles, links, prices, images, notes, and the occasion/date if you fill those in.
If you reserve or mark a gift as purchased: the name and email you provide. No account is needed for this. This information is never shown to the list owner — see “How reservations stay private” below.
How reservations stay private
The whole point of a wishlist is the surprise. When someone reserves or buys something from your list, we deliberately do not let you — the list owner — see who reserved it, or whether it's been marked as purchased. This isn't just hidden in the interface: it's enforced at the database level, so there's no view of your own account that ever reveals it.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers to run Listicious. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else for advertising.
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles sign-in. Your account and wishlist data lives here.
- Resend — sends the email confirming a reservation, if you make one. Only used for that.
- Plausible Analytics — a privacy-focused analytics tool that tells us, in aggregate, how many people visit pages and use key features. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you individually across sites.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It's required for the site to work if you have an account, so there's no separate cookie banner asking you to opt in — it isn't used for tracking or advertising. We don't set any other cookies.
Deleting your data
You can delete a list, or any item on it, at any time from your dashboard — this removes it immediately and permanently.
You can delete your account entirely — along with every list, item, and reservation attached to it — from the “Delete account” button at the bottom of your dashboard. This is immediate and permanent. If you'd rather we do it for you, email hello@listicious.com.
Children
Listicious isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this changes meaningfully, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
